Plot For Peace

A Frenchman and a foreigner, Jean-Yves Ollivier’s heretofore untold historical, award-winning and acclaimed thriller about his negotiations behind the scenes in Africa’s plush presidential palaces and in its war zones that were instrumental in bringing about regional peace and the end of racial discrimination in South Africa whilst contributing to it’s negotiated democracy.

A Tribute to the Frontline States

Presented by the charming Shaka Sisulu, a child of exile himself, and grandson of renowned freedom fighters Walter and Albertina Sisulu, this portrait recognises the extraordinary alliance known as ‘The Frontline States’. It dramatically recounts how three generations of the Sisulu family came to be reunited after living in exile for over three decades.

The Foreign Minister

Roelof ‘Pik’ Botha’s poetic reflections about his momentous career as South Africa’s Foreign Minister and at one stage, one of the longest-serving Foreign Ministers in the world. A flamboyant messenger between two warring worlds, Pik Botha became one of the few ministers who survived to serve both the Apartheid and the ANC governments.

Ten Year Tightrope

Spotlights a small band of notable Afrikaans leaders such as Frederick van Zyl Slabbert, Roelf Meyer and Pik Botha,  who traverse a tense ten-year tightrope between war and peace, turning their backs on their history to help South Africa’s democratic transition. An under-the-radar story of how polarized South Africans began the process of talking to each other. Narrated by acclaimed actress Gretha Fox, the documentary features the difficult decisions and risks these leaders took to convince the National Party to negotiate itself from power.

Women of Style, Women of Substance

Celebrates the female veterans of South Africa’s anti-apartheid struggle who talked the talk, walked the walk and looked good doing it. Narrator and granddaughter of struggle veteran Adelaide Tambo, Theodora Tambo explores the intimate recollections of her grandmother’s generation who used style as a weapon of war.
